I am in dying need of sample formula, in notes client, I have two columns, one is operating cost, the other one in no. of production. I need to create third column, which is percentage of operating cost divided by total production. I need this formula in view, as i categorised these documents by product category. really appreciates any help on this. Regards

You can just put the formula directly into your third column…example:
(OperatingCost / TotalProduction) * 100

But this only work if I need the % at document level, where the fields exist right? I need at category level, where by the total value is computed by total under the column’s property.

You could probably make this a ‘Total’ column as well and select the ‘Hide Row Details’ option so you get a total at the same level as the categories. But yeah the values in the formula need to exist in the document, or be calculated from values that exist in the document.
Without seeing the actual view design and data you’re working with it’s a bit hard to make a guess.
