There are some statistics that show up in the server’s “Show Stat” list, but aren’t defined in events4.nsf. As I discover one, I add it to events4.nsf on my D6 Admin client and on the server, so I can both view/chart it on the Server Statistics/Performance panels, and set up server-side monitors. It seems that I can’t chart or monitor stats whose names contain a variable element (like or ), so I have to create a separate instance for each, replacing QOS.Mail. Mail Probe.ResponseTime with “QOS.Mail.CN=Canadiens/O=Acme Mail Probe.ResponseTime”, “QOS.Mail.CN=Bruins/O=Acme Mail Probe.ResponseTime”, etc. and monitoring the individual stats. This restriction makes sense, but it’s a lot of extra work if there’s a way around it…anybody know of one?
