Any tools to promote design elements from test to production

Hi

Currently, we migrate Lotus Notes design elements from the test environment to the production environment by manually copying the elements from a Staging Template and pasting them into the Production Template. The new or updated design elements will then be refreshed to the Production Database by the Server Update task run daily at about 1am.

We are not using the Refresh Design feature at the Production Template as it means that the full set of design elements whether changed or unchanged will be copied to the Production Template every time there is an update even if it involves only changing one design element. For traceability purposes, we only want to migrate elements that are changed to the Production Template.

Is there a tool to automate the promotion of individual design elements from the development environment to the test environment to production?

You might want to look into Teamstudio CIAO. As well as having automation for promotions it has versionslog and basic check in & out. I very satisified with their product, although they can drive a hard bargain.
