Any Suggestions on how to create a local replica

Hi,

As we are having a maximum file size limit of 110 MB, and I want to create a local replica of the mail file, so that i can replicate everyday, and i can keep much free space in main mail file by deleting some mails. I can do it by replicating with local replica with out any problems, but still looking for better(security) if there is something. Please suggest me, if you have any idea.

We use local file encryption on our local replicas of everything containing confidential information. Do you need more security than that?
