We are upgrading to R6 and it has been planned to map the local Data directory for our users to “My Documents\Notes” Does anyone see that causing problems? Any comments would be appreciated.
Subject: Any problems with putting a space in a directory above Notes\Data?
Hi there,
As you may or may not be aware, the default installation path for Notes 6 data is c:\program files\lotus\notes\data which works fine for me (“program files” contains a space), so I wouldn’t see a problem changing the data path to \my documents\notes\data. Haven’t tried it myself though! We have however used the “Multi-user” install which places the users data in “c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\application data\lotus\notes\data” and this works very well.
