Any news on when IBM Traveler 9.0.1.21 will be released?

Unfortunately, we upgraded our server to (32-bit) IBM Domino 9.0.1 FP10 before realizing that the IBM Traveler 9.0.1.20 server wouldn’t run on it.

Anyone know when IBM Traveler 9.0.1.21 is coming out? I won’t be able to bring the Domino server down to convert to 64-bit Domino for quite some time.

And getting the Hotfix that IBM says is available (to allow Traveler 9.0.1.20 to support Domino 9.0.1 FP10) has been very frustrating (nobody getting back to me with a link or download for the Hotfix).

I’ll wait for Traveler 9.0.1.21 (which we’re promised will also support 32-bit Domino) as long as it’s not to far down the line.

Certain members of management have been looking for a reason to move to MS Exchange for mail and iPhone mail, and IBM releasing a non-32-bit Traveler is REALLY hurting me.

Thank you.

Subject: Traveler 9.0.1.21 fixpack

Hi

Traveler fixpack 9.0.1.21 is planned for early march and it should have support for 32 bit. We have also released an APAR fix LO93380: Add back 32 bit support for Domino 9.0.1 that could be installed on 9.0.1.20 . If you have a PMR we can upload this APAR fix

Thanks Mark and we are attempting to do that.

But I also noticed that the past few IBM Traveler releases were only 2 to 3 months apart.

Since Traveler 9.0.1.20 was released in November 2017, I’m wondering how long it will be before Traveler 9.0.1.21 (which should resume 32-bit support) is released.

Anyone know what website to go to in order to check on Traveler’s upcoming release dates???

Subject: Hotfix

As has been mentioned before, in order to request a Hotfix, you need to contact IBM Support.

Typically whoever licenses/installs/manages your servers will have that access.

Have them take the ‘Open a ticket’ link from IBM Support https://www.ibm.com/support/home
