Hi!Is there any chance that there will be released an Notes Admin 8.5 for Linux in near future?
It is kind of frustrating to be need of WinXP (Virtually) just to run Notes Admin Client, when we all know Notes Client is allready released for Linux.
Do IBM have the will to develop Notes Admin Client for Linux?

In a certain way it’s possible with the Wine. I’m using SLED 11.0. First I installed Wine into my wkstn and configured that with a basic settings. Then I copied over LAN whole Lotus Admin/Designer -client -directories from my Windows laptop to my SLED wkstn. I kept directory structure unchanged (Windows c:\Lotus… vs. .wine/drive_c/Lotus…). You also have to copy c:\windows\system32 directory same way to .wine -directory.
Try to configure your clients as much ready on Windows site, so that everything works fine before you do anything above.
Only thing which doesn’t seems to work is “Preferences…” -options. In my case it will crash my clients.
But still, it’s a worth to try.
90 - 95% all other options works fine.
