An Older Archive

I have a customer with an older archive on his hard drive, probably pre-dating LN 8 of any kind. Due to some changes, he’s found that it will no longer ‘open’ as it should. It won’t open through logging in to Notes, nor will it even open Notes when double-clicking the archive icon. Can anyone suggest a way he can open this archive? TIA>>>

Subject: try it on the server

We had something similar happen to user archives when we changed Domino domains - they were no longer authorized. I copied the file to the server, used “Full Access Administration” mode to change the ACL, then copied them back to the user’s drive.

But you don’t say if the error is that he’s not authorized, or if there is some other error. Knowing what the error message is would help.

Actually I believe we found it afterall. It had been moved to a network share. I had him double-click the icon and it opened LN 8.0.1 and the archive! Viola!!
