Amgr: Error searching......Unable to write to

i just migrate from domino R5.0.11 to R6.5.1.Now one msg is appearing in the console:

Amgr: Error searching ‘mail/xxxx.nsf’ for agents: Unable to write to database because databse would exceed its disk quota.

Someone could help me to stop this msg.

About release the quota → I don´t have enough space so I have to have the quotas .

Is there any other thing I coud do to resolve this ?

Nope. Nothing to do. If you really need quota, so force your users to clean up the mail files, archiving or deleting attachments, and so on.

Daniel mas porque o agent manager não pode escrever nas bases que estão com a quota excedida isto não é um problema.Caso o usuário sempre ultrapasse a cota a mensagem sempre acontecerá isto não pode causar problemas ?

Let’s keep using english, almost no one here can read portuguese…

When the user uses 100% of his quota, there is no way an agent can run on it. No one can write to this database.

In older versions (4.6 if I’m not wrong) had a “BUG” where people could keep sending mail even when the quota was reached. Now servers are more stable because admins can keep databases in a reasonable size.

There is no problems with messages appearing a lot. Just agents will not work, and new messages will not be received.

When this happen → new msg will not be received – the person that send the msg will know that the mail box of the user is full. Correct ?

I read in some place that when I reach the quota I continue receiving e-mail. This correct ?

So in this case because the agent manager doesn´t write to … I can´t receive more e-mails.

Can you explain more ?

Hi,

Since release 6, you can control if the client can or can’t receive new messages, even if his mailbox is bigger than the quota.

Maybe you can try to change your configuration to test it.
