Allow multi-values?<--find this value from script

Is there any way to have script look at a field on a form and see whether or not the “Allow Multiple Values” option is checked?

I have an agent that allows an admin to update items on a document from the view level. Currently, they can add/edit/remove single values, but I would like to enhance this to allow manipulation of multiple values. However, if the field did not have the “Allow…” property checked, it could err out and prompt the user that they are trying to add multiple values to a single-value field.

If it prompts the user then it must be generating some internal error. So code your script to check for the error:

On Error nnnn Goto bla bla
