Allow document locking slows down database performance

When I enable the “Allow document locking” feature the database performance is getting very slow. When you try to open, edit or save a document it takes so much time. If and don’t enable this feature i will see so many “[Replication or Save Conflict]” and i have to manually merge two documents.

Is any one have this type of issue and came up with solution?

Is there any lotusscript agent to automatically merge replication or save conflict with main document?

Why are there so many conflicts?

You can set the Form properties to Merge Conflicts — however, I don’t think it really does work correctly, well, anyway, for me…

Sounds like there are 2 or 3 things accessing a document while it is open…

Are there agents running on a document while a user has it open?

Do multiple users need to access the same document at once?
