Does Lotus Notes 8.02 ‘allclient’ or the upcoming 8.5 ‘allclient’ support installation on Windows Server 2008 in 32bit or 64bit?
It appears the install goes fine with 8.02 on Win2k8_32 but when I run Lotus Notes it opens the splash screen and then closes within a few seconds. This appears to happen on Basic and Standard ‘allclient’ installs. I have this working fine with 7.02 and Win2k3 server/Citrix.
We plan to run Windows Terminal Server on Windows Server 2008 to take advantage of it’s new features…especially helpful for small businesses that can no longer afford Citrix. Maybe we’ll be limited to the Lotus Notes client only without Administrator or Designer?
Any help would be appreciated.
