Hi All I am facing a very strange problem .I am having a very very confidential database,I have protected the views from the ordinary users by selecting who may use this view from view properties and selected the names or groups which can view the details.But when I press ctrl+shift+y key and then open the database then all the views are visible to all the users(Even ordinary also).I am unable to find the solution.

Protecting views is not really a security feature as anyone with access to the database can create their own personal views & folders or replicate the database to see documents in the database.
The better recommended security feature, in addition to securing your views, is to put Readers fields on the documents. That way only those people / groups specified in the Readers fields can see the documents. For everyone else those documents will not appear in any view.
