I have a question for everybody. On their group calendars do people who mark in all-day events still show up as being available? If people put all-day events shouldn’t it show up as being away? We just noticed this here and I’m wondering if anybody else can confirm it.
I did search the Notes 5 forum and did see somebody else posted the same problem but with no response.

If the calendar entry has “pencil in” selected, the time is not marked busy. If it is not selected, the time will show as being away.
But then again, you probably knew this already …

Ya I knew that, and I checked the entry on their calendar and it wasn’t penciled in. Of course when I create an all-day event I’m shown as unavailable.
Unfortunately these people are gone on vacation so I can’t ask them how they created these entries. I’m a little worried that this may be happening all over the place and their calendars aren’t showing up properly.
While I was typing this I decided to look into it a bit further and noticed that if I set my preference to be “Detailed information about your calendar entries” in the Access & Delegation tab, when I created an all day event, it doesn’t show up as me being unavailable. I’m assuming that this was the problem but when I went on the person (who was screwed up in the first place) changed her preference and then tried to load her up. She still showed that she was available.
So there’s something screwy happening there. I’ll keep poking around and if I come up with any solid evidence, I’ll post it here.
