I have a user (R7) whose calendar always opens on ‘All Calendar Entries’. He would like the default to be by ‘Day’. Can I change this?

I had a 7.0.2 client with the same problem. It was a corrupt bookmark.nsf file. Typically when you find weird occurrences in the Lotus Notes client it is caused by one or all of the following files: cache.ndk, bookmark.nsf and desktop6.ndk. These files can be deleted while the client is not active. They will be recreated when the client is launched. If you delete the bookmark.nsf and desktop6.ndk and you do not have a server desktop policy, you will need to rebuild the user’s bookmarks manually.
In my case, I exited from the user’s client, renamed bookmark.nsf and desktop6.ndk in the data directory and re-launched the Lotus Notes client. We then tested the calendar views.
It fixed the problem.

Hi,
I had a user with the same problem. I do the next steps to resolve this problem:
Replca design with a other (mail)template.
Load updall mail***.nsf -R
Replace degign with original template
Load Fixup mail***.nsf -L
Load compact mail***.nsf -c -i
Load updall mail***.nsf -R
Good luck
