I have found a bug when editing an alias inview with the designer client. It caused documents to be created with both the formname and alias instead of just the alias.

Does this problem occur only when creating the alias initially via inview edit? I.e. create a form without an alias, then specify alias by editing inview. If so, this is a known issue and fixed in a recent internal build.
Or do you see the problem editing an existing alias that was previously created in the form’s infobox? I can’t reproduce this case, and will investigate further if this is what you are seeing.
