AIX Upgrade to 64-bit, Running Domino 7.0.1

Hi,

Our AIX Administrators have told me that they are upgrading all the servers to the 64-bit Kernel. We are running Domino 7.0.1 which from what I can tell is compatible with 64-bit but will still run in 32-bit mode.

Can anyone tell me if any changes need to be made to our Domino installs on these servers? So far I’ve been told that everything should be fine but I’d just like to make sure.

(It appears 7.0.1 requirements are no longer valid)

You should note that only the 64-bit version of AIX is supported.

So, the answer to your question is the Domino install runs as expected on AIX 64-bit without changes. Follow the install instructions and you’ll be fine.
