Agent to send mails

Dear all,I have a view categorized by Product and in next col is set of email addresses. Now i need to write an agent to send an email to everyone in that particular product. that can be done but my problem is i need to display the product name instead of email addresses on SentTo field. Can it be done? Please assist me

hi

create one more view which will be hidden and get all documents based on product in to one collection

then you tak first document from collection corrsponding to that tak mail id from that document and send mail to that person

then go to next document repeat the process that it

Thanks reddy…Yes i can do it that way…my problem is i should include only the product name on SentTo field and email addresses should not display on email message…only one email message should generateregards

Create an entry for each product as an alias for a mail box in the name and address book.

Collate your email addresses from the view and Bcc them. Put the product name in the send to field.

anyway i cannot create groups or email addresses for each product since i have about 200 products available…

The user name field in the name and address book can contain variations to the standard user name. So if you created a new user (call it say, Products/XYZ) and then add all your products as a list below the original one in the User Name field. Then when you put your product name in the SendTo field, domino will recognise it as this user and send it to the mail box. It means that you can put the product name in the sendto field and all the other emails as Cc or Bcc.

I did what you said…but every time you send a mail that user will be getting a mail too and User name displaying on To field after sending eg: Product(i created the user as Product)
