Agent to notify Replication/Save conflict?

Hi All,

I have a database which runs on two different servers. Users are creating/editing documents agaist a form called ‘MainF’.

Quite often I come across with replication/save conficts with documents created agaist this form.

Then admin person has to delete the unwanted doc.

Is there any way to set up an agent to notify (admin) by way of email, whenever a replication/save happen against this form ‘MainF’ ??

You would need to program a custom agent - there is no default settings to do this.

The simplest way is to build a view in the database with the selection formula: SELECT @IsAvailable($Conflict)

This will show you all the conflict documents. You can check this view regularly, or build a simple agent using the ‘Send Newsletter Summary’ simple action. Make sure the agent is set to run on new or modified documents, and that your new view is selected in the dialog box for the newsletter action.
