I am a new to Notes, so please excuse my ignorance.
I have several clients running Notes 6.0 that require their email be fwd’d to pagers, cell phones, etc.
I do not want to open up the server to do this, but would rather just have an Agent (?) run a script that fwds that email everytime the client receives an email…
Since all the client are running on Desktops (not laptops) they are always connected to the server.
Does this make sense? Is this possible on the client side?

I think what you want can be done using the Rules functionality in the mail template.
New Rules can be added via the Tools\Rules view.
We have played with this functionality in 6.0.1 to send copies of emails containing specific text in the subject to specific mailin databases and it works fine.

You can also doing is “simple agents” - no coding required, just pick ‘send mail’ or ‘send document’ from a drop down list. You are done!
