Hi

i want agent rationally, can you let me knowing the rational matters or the agent code how to do it

i have two view named view1 and view2

in one of my view1 is structure like this one

            jun5 jun12 jun17 jun24 ...............onwords

Employee name 23 23 22 23 …32

as abvoe shown is view structure! is describes that specified employee is booked for certain weeks? (note this view is re

fring another form )

if suppose this employee asking for a leave between two date ( for ex: From date and to_date) and if his application goes to

approved then the days he is asking (suppose he/she may be asking for jun 5 to june 12) then he should be avail as 0 in the schedular)

for june 5 to june 12 if he was available before ( i means the schedular should be updated if he is asking for leave during that days: the codition is that

his application should be Approved)

after updation of schedular the schedular will be

            jun5 jun12 jun17 jun24 ...............onwords

Employee name 0 0 22 32 …32

this is the view above are described!

will any body help me in this regards with agent or snippets of rationals.

I think it will be easier if you do not try to do this with a view. It would be better to create a report on demand and fill in the table cells with information based on today’s date. This redbook Domino Designer 6 A Developer’s Handbook contains a chapter about rich text programming with some examples of such reports.

If you try to use a view, you will need an agent to update the view every week. All the information that appears on one view row, must be in the same document. So you would need a document for each employee that contains their hours for all the weeks. You would need an agent to update these documents when a leave request document is approved. You would need other documents and other agents to track the different numbers of hours that they will be available in a week.

This is not an application for a beginning Notes developer. If you can find someone to help you one on one, that would be a good idea.
