Agent Manager not loading - No Error

Recently upgraded from 7 to 8 and agent manager is not running. AMGR is listed in the notes.ini as a start task. In the configuration document Agent Manager is set to have 3 running tasks during the day and 5 at night. Load amgr from the console starts amgr and then it dies in a few seconds… no messages, no errors generated that I can find. Anybody have any idea why this is happening and how I can go about correcting it?

Subject: Debug_amgr=* is set…

I do have Debug_amgr=* set, I get no information if I run load amgr… I can see the process start on the linux box via top runs a few seconds then dies… no information.
