Does anyone have any metrics on average performance difference (time-wise) of running an agent manually vs. scheduled? I’ve seen a big difference in the time it takes one to run, but was wondering if someone could me some numbers I could base guessimates on as a general rule of thumb - just a basic agent that gets a coll, loops through it and performs updates to documents one-at-a-time. Thanks in advance.

It depends almost completely on the following:

How fast your network is, and how much data has to be retrieved

Whether your code is looping through something on the server, such as view
I usually assume that 10x is a conservative bet, although I’m sure it could be as little as 2x.
