Agent, Call doc.Save(False, False, True) (Unread marks) and Agent Signer

Hi,

I have an agent which moves documents to the Junk folder based on a field in the document.

If sread = 1 Then

Call doc.PutInFolder(“($JunkMail)”, True)

Call doc.Save(False, False, True)

Call doc.RemoveFromFolder(“($Inbox)”)

The idea is that the mail should be marked as read when moved to the folder. This is working if I (the owner) am the signer of the agent. If the server has the agent it is not working.

I guess this happens as unread marks are personal and stored in the desktop.ndk!?

Is there a way I can avoid this - mails will always be marked as read nomatter who has signed the agent?

Thanks.

Kjeld

you are correct, unread marks are user (ID) specific.

And a possible workaround??

no workaround but why do you care if they are read or unread if you’re putting them in the junkmail folder?

I dont care. But my users do…They dont wanna have the junk mail included in the unread count on the workspace. I see the point/request but as well as a thing which isnt that important.

Would just be nice.

Cheers.
