Agent and Lock Document

Hi,

I have a agent at night that need to update some document. I’m having a problem if the user left the document in edit mode.

Is their a way to edit the document (Ex: if the user left the document in edit mode) and save it and prevent (the next morning) the user to save the document again. I would want that the user need to close (no save) the document and re-open it.

Any suggestion would be appreciate.

Xetrion Lock Manager should solve this problem (have a look at automatic unlock features).

Yes! I know I can unlock the document but what will happen the the document next morning if the agent modify the document during the night and the user that left the document in edit mode try to save it?
