Last week we had to upgrade all of our mac clients to 7.0.3 to resolve a Daylight Saving issue. The upgrade fixed the DST issue, but now all of our mac users experience VERY slow use of our timesheet database. This same database runs normally for all of our Windows users (running 6.5.X and 7.0.2 clients). It’s only effecting mac users with 7.0.3 clients.
So far, we have restarted the server and ran compact, updall and fixup tasks on the timesheet database.
Any ideas as to what can be causing these performance issues?

I seem to recall that there were performance issues when using v7 clients against v6 servers, although I can’t find a technote for them now. If possible, you should upgrade a test server to v7, put a copy of your DB on there and see if it’s still slow.
Also, check the network settings on the Notes clients (Notes->Preferences->User Preferences->Ports). Check that the upgrade process didn’t do something stupid like enable AppleTalk or even a (non-existent) local modem.
