I have the following problem.
I want to create a new DB on my server.
To do this I connect from my PC with the Admin client to the server.
I select File\Database\New
I select the location and the name for the new DB
I select the same server as the location for the template to use and I select the template.
When I click OK i get the error ‘You’re not autherised to perform that operation’
I have checked the following
I am member of the group that is listed in the server document as Administrator (the one that can create dbs and replicas).
The template ACL has -Default- as Unspecified and Reader (which should be enough to create the db I think)
This has worked in R5
are R6 templates by default so secure that you need to add your Admin group by hand after the upgrade?
What am I missing?
