After ReInstallation: Error 500 HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception

Hi thereI was working on some xpages within Designer on a notebook with Vista. So far the preview on localhost was working.

Two days ago I deinstalled 8.5.2 and deleted all leftovers (IBM directory).

I reinstalled the 8.5.2, several times up to now. All works fine (I am a beginner with xpages) but the preview won’t work anymore. J checked out different databases, new ones and existents.

The console.log file presents:

If you can give me any advice - thank you! I am not a technician…

Looks like a file is missing so I suggest reinstalling again - no need to deinstall.

Jerry.

Subject: Next try

Hi Jerry

I tried to reinstall without a deinstallation. Unfortunately without success. I checked out the console.log… Same problem…

Thanks anyway - if there’s any more I can try I will do, of course.

Subject: Try to first install 64 bitars java and then 32.

I have Windows 7 and got the same problem with error 500 when preview XPages with localhost.

I have the windows 7 in 64 bitars and Notes in 32.

I Solved it with first install 64 Java and then 32 Java and then re-install Lotus Notes.
