I have recently installed Notes Client 6.5.1 on our company machines, we currently use Microsoft Outlook as our email client - the thing is, since the install (which I said no to ‘Make notes default email program’) its made Notes the default email program!
Now everytime someone right clicks on a file in Windows explorer and chooses ‘Send to mail recipient’, it launches Notes!
Can anyone help me with this problem because its driving me mad. I have done the ‘Internet Options’ thing and ‘Set program access and defaults’ thing.

I know this may sound odd but I would remove the settings to the default email in the registry and then set outlook to be the default email using the old technique detailed below:-
Start Internet Explorer.
Select Tools | Internet Options from the menu.
Go to the Programs tab.
Make sure Microsoft Outlook is selected under E-mail.
Click OK.

These are the only keys that I could find that seem to reference some sort of Mail Client setting.
Might help, might not. Hope it does though…

Yes but surely this should not happen in the first place, I’m sure this is a Lotus Notes BUG!!
How would one report a bug?
