After deletion of mail ,deleted mail not going to trash folder

Make sure that Enable Soft Deletions is checked in the Database Properties (last tab, at the bottom). I also recall that there may have been a bug involving the trash that could be fixed by changing the Soft Deletion expire time, and then changing it back (or not).
