Good morning,

I’m a IT spaciliast that use Domino in my infrastructure.

I use Active Directory as default repository and ADSYNC to syncronize USERS & GROUPS into Domino Directory

In AD i can add manager and directreport field for each user but when sync with Domino i see field with incorrect value for Domino.

For example CN=user,OU=users,OU=domain value is not correct for Domino because accept value like USER/USERS/DOMAIN

Is there the possibility to pre-format this value when sync AD with DOMINO?

Subject: Notes hierarchical name

You can not define the format of the Notes hierarchical name. Notes hierarchical name is always First Middle Last/.

You can control the by creating Organizational units under your Organizational certifier.

I’ve right… Therefore there’s some fields that ins’t possible to syncronize… like manager field because Active Directory send user information with LDAP format CN=… format not used in Domino

You can send AD fields to Domino via the attribute mappings. It is only some naming components that can not be mapped
