I have read through the ADSync redbooks that IBM has put out and tried to create a new user in active directory and then register in Domino but cam to a grinding halt. The error message that I got was
Registration finished, 0 user(s) or group(s) added to Domino Directory, 0 registrations with errors. 1 attempt(s) with errors. 0 left in queue.
Registering user “User Name” in domino directory: Destination path does not exist.
I am new to this so I need some help.

Subject: Adsync AD to Domino R6.
I set this up about a year ago and had no problems. I don’t have my notes but from what I recall, you have to configure the AD stuff to point to domino after installation. Re-read the part about installing the .dll or .mmc (I can’t remember, the piece you must load on the AD admins machine) and you should see a part about configuring your Domino home server, certifiers etc…
I had no trouble so either you missed something or you have a glitch in your environment. I’m no AD expert either, we actually go the other way and create AD users from Domino Admin, I only tested the AD side once, but it was successful (and cumbersome).
