Adminp - change in OU component of users

Hi ,

I have to do a change as below:

If the user’s name is - > CN = John/OU=IBM1/OU=IBM2/O=IBM3

Then the user’s name should be changed as below:

CN = John/O=LOTUS

If you see, the OU components must be removed and only the O component is changed as a different one.

I have to implement this for several users of a database.

Should i seek the help of Adminp ??

Or should I write an agent a manually ?

Please advise how to go about this as am new to Lotus Notes.

you can use “recertify” from the people view in the admin client.This will use the adminp process to change the certifiers.

Can u be little elaborate on the the recertify process.

Admin client means is that Domino Administrator ?

Pls advise?

Then should I run the adminp process?

Yes - use the Administration Client. Then wait for adminp to run or if you need, you can load it manually. See help.

But I have not run the Adminp yet…So wil there be any place where we wil tel the names/components which needs to be changed ?
