Hi, can anybody give me a hint on following case :
“Admin Process: Error processing Mail Policy for user: ‘xxx’ on mailfile: ‘mail\xxx’-: File does not exist”.
A person document for xxx user exists and there are no mailfile defined; the mailfile of the user has been deleted and the mail type has been set to ‘None’), so logically there is no more link for any type of Mail Policy for that user. Is there somewhere a refresh option which I’m missing or a setting which stop the server to try to update the policy for those users who has no more mail files ?

Check to make sure the user does not have an explicit policy assigned that may include a mail policy. You will also want to check for Org policy that may include mail policy document.
In one case this error was seen when a copy of the names.nsf on a different server had a replication/save conflict in the policy document and when that was cleared the error ceased.
Good luck.

Hi Jana, thanx yours, definitely the user has no explicit policy, there are no replication conflict on the names.nsf. Due to different organisations there are no Org policy for those users available. Any further idea ?

I think I found out the cause for that error : - when in names.nsf an available user with Notes mail settings be changed to another Mail System e.g. Internet Mail then the fields MailFile and MailServer still keep the old entries for the Notes Mail System i.e. for the Admin Process still the user has got a valid MailFile and a valid MailServer. Solution : changing the “Mail system” field is not sufficient those related fields “Domain”, “Mail server” and “Mail file” SHOULD be deleted manually before setting the “Mail system” to another type than “Notes”.
