Admin connecting from internet

I have just setup a domino server and am trying to connect from the internet to administer the server but get the above error.Can’t find where to access the port and connection configuration…

I guess I need to tell the administrator what IP address to connect to but can’t find anything in the settings and also what port needs to be opened on the firewall to allow lotus admin to connect??

One option - If your Notes server is web enabled, then there is a admin database which can be used to administor the server (most of the functions that are found in the admin client). Uses the standard port 80.

http://yourservername.com/webadmin.nsf

It will then ask for the internet username and password for the administrator account.

Can u access your mail using Notes client, when connected thru internet?Notes Client and Admin client use same port 1352 to access server.

If you need to tell the client about server IP (if there is no entry in DNS) then either add it in your hosts file or create a connection document to the server in Personal address book.

Also study how and when to use different location settings when accessing server from Local domain or thru internet.

Webadmin is a good tool but with limited functionality. This works on port 80 by default.
