Adjust a decimal value

Hi,

I have a field which has a value

1.6777435264833

From the above value i need to compute 2 field.

In one field i need to have the value after the decimal point (i.e 6777435264833 in the above example) and in another field i need to have only 2 digits after the decimal point(i.e 67 in the above example)

I need to do this using Lotus Script.

Can anyone help me on this.

Use the Left function in LotusScript. In the help file index, type “Left function” and you’ll see it. You’re going to need to trim out any numbers before the decimal and the decimal itself, then after your expression contains only the digits after the decimal (in this case 6777435264833) find the left 2 digits

expr2 = Left[$] ( expr , 2 )

Use Strright(expr, “.”) to get the right part of the decimal.
