We have 200 Blackberry users (8.0.2 Basic client, 8.5.1 Domino server) on a BES 5 server and we are always getting issues with the users personal address book not synchronising with the handset. When looking at the PIM Sync settings on the BES the ‘Address Book’ settings for the user do not seem to be being populated. When manually filled it seems to fix the problem. why isn’t this an automatic update when users are added to the BES?

Also check the policy assigned to the user is not set to disable the sync of the address books.

In the Server and Componants view on the left hand side check outunder blackberry domain > syncronisation to make sure that Address Book sync settings are correct (ie ON)
