Hi all,

We need to send emails (always from DWA7) that could show for the addressee something more than just the email address.

I.E: Mails we are now sending from the account info@mydomain.com are shown in external destination as From: info@mydomain.com, and we would like to send an additional text, something like From: “Information MYCOMPANY” info@mydomain.com.

This is something very usual with free mail systems like yahoo or gmail, but I don’t know if this is possible with Domino or how could do it.

This is a setting in your GLOBAL Domain Document.

Conversions Tab :

Right at the bottom on the left hand side it

(Address Format) - Change this to Name and Address.

Does this also work on Domino V7?

In the settings there is something written that this settings are only valid for R4.x SMTP MTAs.

If valid, is it correct that the server has to been restarted completely so that the changes in the global domain document will take effect?
