Address lookup problem

when I address an email, by just typing name, e.g. 'red’I get a pop up list with some suggested addresses.

This is fine, except some of the entries are malformed, e.g. they list on Organisation element as an OU.

e.g. CN=Fred Smith/OU=orgname instead of CN=Fred Smith/O=orgname

I heave searched all directories for this incorrect entry but I can’t find it anywhere. i.e. Local, and all directores in Directory Assistance.

This is happening for almost every name in the directory and causing lots of problems

How can I find out where this list gets it’s entries from?

Did you check your local address books Recent Contacts view?

I hate the recent contacts feature!

I checked the entire db with Teamstudio

When you start typing a name, notes uses type-ahead to find similar names. Type ahead will look locally first, so clear out your recent contacts and disable it if you prefer and try again. Actually open the view and clear everything out. Also, are you using a mobile directory catalog, or any other local address books?
