I upgraded to Notes 8.5 from 7.x recently and now my address book is not syncing. I do not see a Notes 8.5 option for syncing address book as I did in Notes 7.x . WHat is the process for setting up automatic syncing of address book in 8.5 ?

This is what I do.
First of all you have to enable synching of the address book with mail file: Preferences, Contacts, put a tick beside Enable “Synchronize Contacts” on the Replicator.
Go into Replication and enable replication of “Synchronize Contacts”
The last step is to open the Blackberry Manager, select the user, Edit properties, PIM Sync, Address Book:
Synchronization Enabled; True
Sychronization Type: Bidirectional
Location - server: CN=homeserver/O=domain
Location - Relative Path: mail\usermail.nsf
Subject: Checking the box
