I remember in R5 there was a setting so that the client would look to the company address book before the user’s address book. Where if that setting in R6?

If your talking about the type ahead feature, it’s in the location document under the mail tab. Bottom right hand corner, usually office, edit current and hit the mail tab, and go down to recipient name look up and you can choose Local then Server, Local, or disabled.
