I have recently upgraded my domino server from 6.5.4 to 7.0.2. everything works except the users are complaioning that there is no longer an autofill for Company addresses. Say you have a comopany XYZ inc that has an address. If I create a new contact, then select the company fro mthe drop down list, it will auto-fill the address and other info related to this company. This is no longer the case. when i select the company there is no option to fill in the blanks. What happened?

I noticed this problem recently. It appears to be an error with the hide-when formula that governs the display of the “Refresh Business Address” link in the Contact form. This may have been fixed in later releases of the personal address book template.
Here is the hide-when formula:

addr := @DbLookup(“” : “NoCache”; “”; view; CompanyName; 3);
CompanyName = “” | addr = “” | @IsError(addr)
The problem is that addr is almost always a list obect, so the comparison addr = “” does not yield an accurate result.
I fixed the problem by changing the formula to this:
view := “Companies”;
addr := @Implode(@DbLookup(“” : “NoCache”; “”; view; CompanyName; 3));
CompanyName = “” | addr = “” | @IsError(addr)
The @Implode command ensures that addr is a simple string. This may not be the best way to fix it, but it appears to work.
