Additional Server Installation Error

Am attempting to install an additional server to a domino domain that currently only has one server. I did the following:

  1. Registered the new server in the Configuration section.

  2. Installed the server software on the new server

  3. Copied the new server ID to the data directory of the new server.

  4. Ran the setup for the new server… and at exactly 20% get the following error.

ERROR: You are not authorized to use the server.

It appears the new server errors out when it tries to get info from the first server. Port 1352 is open on both. And of course, I am the administrator on the first server and can access everything.

This error generally comes up when Admin is in Deny access group Or not in Primary group… like Primary Server group

Make sure that your new server is a member of the LocalDomainServer group.
