I have had no problem following instructions in various documentation for adding custom view/form actions to the iNotes 8.0 Full version, but it seems to be implied that those steps should make the actions also appear in the Lite version as well (and they don’t). I know the iNotes Lite architecture in 8.0 represents a new approach, which has continued into both the full and lite modes of 8.5, but either this area seems to have fallen through the documentation cracks or I am missing something really obvious.
As background, my goal is simply to have actions that will set a field flag on selected documents (in the view/folder case) and the current document (in the form case) and then refresh the document or view/folder, ideally without a full page refresh. In other words, more or less exactly what the “Quick Flag” action does. If anyone has code or thoughts targetted toward that specific goal, either for version 8.0 OR 8.5, then you will truly make my week :-).
