I can’t believe that I am the first person to try this, but I can’t get it to work and I can’t find any conclusive information on the subject. Maybe somebody can help?
I have written a web application that uses the “Best Fit for OS” edit control on a rich text field. I have installed spell checking software that is successfully checking the editor. Now I would like to add a button to the editor toolbar so that the spell check can be invoked from a “logical” position.
I understand that the buttons are driven from the file domec.js on the server, however there is a list of constants in the file dhtmled.js that I think I will also need to update. Also, the source html on my form seems to reference a file called “en-gb.xml” that doesn’t appear to exist on my server.
My question(s) is (are), has anyone ever managed to add a button to this editor? Does anyone know where I can find useful documentation about its implementation?
Thanks in advance
Ben
