Added recovery information to cert id but recovery won't work

Hello!

We added to one of our cert id’s the recovery information long time ago.

Now we lost the password from this cert id and tried to recover it.

But everytime we type in the recovery password we get the following error message: “Illegal use of a Certifier ID file”.

How to recover the cert id?

ID File Recovery is configured in certifier ID files, but applies to user ID files, not certifier ID files.

Means that the ID is gone forever?

I would recommend trying again to guess the password that was forgotten.
