Add to Replication Page

I am trying to avoid long dial-up times needed to create a new replica of a large database for a remote user. This database is not a mail database. I just want to send the replica on a cd. In testing, I have been able to create a replica on a local machine and then copy that to a cd and tranfer that to the \data directory on another client. How do I add that replica to the replication page? If I choose “new replica” it wants to overwrite the current replica. This negates the whole point of what I am trying to do–doesn’t it? I just want to add my newly copied replica to the replication page so that I can replicate with the server–without replicating the whole 600 megs. Modify it really. Thoughts? Thanks.

Have you opened the database and then done File | replication | settings and made the appropriate entries as described in the Notes help file under “customizing a replica”?

I am using 6.0.3 to access internet via POP and everything was running smoothly until I tried to edit another location to download from another pop e-mail account. Suddenly, I have no “receiving incoming mail” entry on the replicator page. How do I add it back?
