Ok, so I finally find the color I want to use as a main color in my design and I’d like to not have to type inn the RGB value every single time, but rather store this value in the Custom Color palette. So I click the “Add to custom color” button, and voilá! I’ve just overwritten my favorite color from my last design…
Can the custom color palette really onyl hold one color total??
I’ve tried to select one of the empty squares first, and then click “Add to custom colors” but alas… No luck…
Anyone give me a hand with this?
Thanks!
(No, I couldn’t find anything in the Designer Help either…)

The key here, is before you assign your custom color to a spot on the palette, is to select a blank entry on the palette that hasn’t been assigned a custom color yet.

Oh…I thought that I could open a previously defined color and then press Add To Custom Colors and it would automatically add itself to the next available spot…
So if I have to select a blank custom color space THEN set the color and press Add To Custom Colors it makes more sence (in a wierd, wierd kinda way…)
Thanks guys!

This works for me…
Bring up the custom color dialog
Select the custom color you want to set/change
Adjust the color using your RGB values, or the color controls
Click Add to custom colors to set it’s value
Click Okay to save the change
