I need to add a new menu item on the default ‘File’ menu bar/ the top-most menu bar in Notes Client. This new item will be located before the ‘Help’ link.
I have tried to pinpoint the location of the default menu but without much success. Neither have i managed to get any idea as to how to add links in the default menu.
My guess is that a new toolbar will be a good option, but that is kind of a last option for us at this point of time.
To change the pull down menu - you’re looking at changing the design of the actual Lotus Notes client. I’ve never done this, but would ask - are you looking to update the file menu for all Lotus Notes DB or just when a particular DB is open?
If it’s just when a partular DB / Application is open you can have things appear in the Action Menu.
