Hi, I don’t see the ‘Add external user by E-mail address’ checkbox when adding a New Sametime Contact and selecting the extst.ibm.com community. This is the case only in the Sametime client within Notes, in the standalone Sametime clients the checkbox is there. Is this due to a configuration option I’ve missed? Thanks very much…

In the Sametime policy there is a setting to allow the integrated client to use all Sametime Connect features. This will allow your integrated clients to be able to add external contacts and also to be able to set geographical location information.

hi. i think the option is kept for the full client.but you can do it manually: export the sametime contact list to a file and add additional lines manually (@E is for External):
U @E;user@mail.com1:: Firstname;Lastname,
